Miss Orton

Hoy toca partida doble. Carátula y Canción. Y todo gracias a Beth Orton, esta Inglesa es toda una veterana de la escena Folk aunque también hace sus pinitos con la música Electrónica. Ahora saco su ultimo disco "Comfort of Strangers" y la verdad es que la carátula me encanta. Supongo que inspirada por su tierra natal nos muestra un valle con unas casitas antiguas con unos arcoiris. Dibujado y simple, pero aunque pueda parecer que tiene tonos muy oscuros a mi no deja de parecerme una portada alegre y optimista. ¿Y a ustedes?



Y ahora, también sacado de su ultimo trabajo, el single de hoy: "Heartland Truckstop". Siempre se agradece una vocalista como Beth Orton que te acompañe las placenteras tarde/noche de domingo en las que el tiempo pasa mientras decides que hacer: si estudiar un rato... si conectarte y hablar con amigos, navegar por Internet, o ver una vieja peli que lleva meses en tu "lista de pelis que ver"...
