La verdad es que no se mucho de Brandie Carlile, ni siquiera donde la descubrí. Creo que fue leyendo en alguna pagina web en la que apareció su nombre, mire en YouTube y me gusto. Asi de simple. Desde entonces siempre ha estado en mi mente asociadas a Colbie Caillat y Rachel Yamagata. Supongo que por el hecho de que todas son jóvenes cantautoras Norte Americanas que les basta poco para expresar mucho... Closer to you es sin duda una de las canciones que más me gustan de esta chica, que es capaz de ir desde el folk más intimo al country alternativo.
