Sufjan Stevens es conocido por lo fantasiosa que es su música. Pero hoy nos vamos a fijar también en sus portadas, y es que la imagen que da lugar a la carátula de su LP: Illinoise, donde platillos volantes, gangster de los años 30 y cabras comparten espacio. Y es que otra cosa no se, pero imaginación es algo que Stevens derrocha...

El joven Sufjan, nacido en Detroit, es todo un músico. Es de esos artistas que es capaz de tocar un gran variedad de instrumentos con lo que su música cobra gran riqueza sonora. Desde la guitarra y el piano, hasta la flauta y el oboe, son instrumentos que Sufjan es capaz de utilizar para crear su característico sonido. Un sonido limpio, con toques celtas y una voz acompañada siempre de bellos coros son algunas de sus características. Y es que su música siempre ha tenido buena acogida, incluso en España, donde dos grandes artistas del Indie Nacional como son Vetusta Morla y Christina Rosenvinge han hecho una versión de una de sus canciones más conocidas: "Chicago".
